DESCRIPTION
The Facilities Management division requested Procurement to solicit proposals from qualified firms for the purpose of selecting experienced and qualified vendors to provide architectural & engineering services for Polk County. The scope of services includes, but not be limited to, the planning and design for the construction of new facilities, and recommendations on modifications or additions to existing facilities or the construction of additional facilities.
Request for Proposal (RFP) 26-116, Professional Architectural & Engineering Continuing
Services was issued, and nineteen vendors submitted a proposal. The selection committee met on June 29, 2026; to evaluate and score the proposals. The committee collectively decided to elevate the fourteen highest ranked proposers to interviews. On August 11, 2026, the selection committee conducted proposer interviews. After the interviews, the consensus of the selection committee was to request the Board authorize staff to enter into contract negotiations with the eleven highest ranked proposers.
