DESCRIPTION
The Real Estate Services Division requested Procurement solicit proposals from qualified consultants to provide acquisition services for drainage projects, including but not limited to, negotiations, business damages, settlements and closing, relocation, suit preparation, file retirement, and appraisal and appraisal review services. These projects are for Armstrong Road/S. Pipkin Road/Old Medulla Road, Creekwater Drive, and Carefree Cove (Group A), and Hamilton Road and Medulla Road (Group B).
Request for proposal (RFP) 24-217, Acquisition Services - Drainage Projects was issued, and two vendors submitted proposals. The selection committee met on April 11, 2024, to evaluate and score the proposals. The consensus of the selection committee was to forgo interviews and request the Board authorize staff to enter into contract negotiations with American Acquisition Group for Group A and Florida Acquisition & Appraisal, Inc. for Group B.

A recommendation of award was posted, and no protests were received.
RECOMMENDATION
Request Board approve the selection committee’s recommendation and authorize staff to negotiate an agreement with 1) American Acquisition Group for Group A, 2) Florida Acquisition & Appraisal, Inc. for Group B to provide acquisition services.
FISCAL IMPACT
There is no fiscal impact during negotiations.
