DESCRIPTION

This is an Applicant-Initiated request for a Future Land Use designation change from Professional/Institutional (PIX) to Residential High (RHX), on 12.86 acres in the Transit Supportive Development Area (TSDA) in the North US 27 Selected Area Plan. Subject site is north of Interstate 4, south of US 192, east of Windmill Boulevard, on the west side of US 27, and does reside in the Green Swamp. It is north of the City of Haines City in Section 12, Township 25, Range 26

 

State law requires one Planning Commission hearing, which was held on June 7th, 2023, with a recommendation for approval (Vote 6:1).  This is the adoption hearing. The transmittal hearing to the Department of Economic Opportunity was held on August 8th, 2023.
