DESCRIPTION
Facilities Management requested Procurement to solicit proposals from qualified firms for the purpose of providing architectural & engineering services for the demolition of the existing Lawrence Crow building and sallyport, and design of a new sallyport at the same location in Bartow, FL. The services include, but are not limited to, planning of demolition, design, construction bid documents, and construction oversite of a new sallyport to be completed in two (2) phases.
Request for Proposal (RFP) 23-132, Architectural & Engineering Services for the Lawrence Crow Building Demolition and Sallyport Design was issued, and two firms submitted proposals. The selection committee met on February 10, 2023 and elevated the two firms to interviews. On the same day, February 10, 2023, the selection committee interviewed and ranked the two firms. After the interviews, the consensus of the selection committee was to request the Board authorize staff to enter into contract negotiations with all proposers, starting with the highest-ranked proposer, Furr, Wegman & Banks, P.A. The proposer's ranking are as follows:

A recommendation of award was posted, and no protests were received.
