DESCRIPTION
On November 17, 2020, the Board approved and executed a Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Hazard Mitigation Grant Program (HMGP) funding Agreement for Project #: 4337-0401-R, Polk County, Auxiliary Power for Six (6) County Fueling Sites, Contract #: H0488 between The Florida Division of Emergency Management / FEMA HMGP and Polk County.
On January 9, 2024, the Board approved Modification No. One (1) a time-extension to Contract # H04883 for Project # 4337-401-R, Polk County, Auxiliary Power for Six (6) County Fueling Sites between the Florida Division of Emergency Management / FEMA HMGP and Polk County for the Federal Emergency Management Agency’s (FEMA) Hazard Mitigation Grant Program (HMGP) funding Agreement.
Modification No. Two (2) provides for reinstatement of the grant and extends the terms of the agreement, modify the Scope of Work, and increases Federal Funding by $191,608.50 under the Agreement.
RECOMMENDATION
Request Board approve Modification No. Two (2) to Contract # H04883 for Project # 4337-401-R, Polk County, Auxiliary Power for Six (6) County Fueling Sites, between the Florida Division of Emergency Management (FDEM) and Polk County for the Hazard Mitigation Grant Program (HMGP) funding Agreement to extend the expiration date to August 31, 2024.
FISCAL IMPACT
These funds are already budgeted in the FY23/24 CIP for the Hazard Mitigation Grant for Auxiliary Power for Six (6) County Fueling Sites project.
