DESCRIPTION
The Functional Classification Committee is comprised of representatives from the following Divisions: Office of Planning and Development (OPD), Polk Transportation Planning Organization (TPO), Roads and Drainage and Land Development. The purpose of the committee is to review the existing functional classification of Polk County roads, per the “County Road Functional Classification” criteria adopted by the Board on August 5, 1997. The committee makes recommendations regarding the reclassification of roads as necessary and appropriate.
The committee has reviewed these roads and made the following reclassification recommendations:
RECOMMENDATION
Request Board approve the County Road Functional Classifications as outlined, above.
