DESCRIPTION
The County has received the following request to adopt a resolution vacating a portion of a platted public drainage easement. Florida Statutes, Section 336.10, requires the Commissioners hold a public hearing to consider Petitions adopting resolutions vacating, abandoning, discontinuing, closing, renouncing, and disclaiming property under their control. Setting a public hearing date will comply with Florida Statutes and allow the request to be considered.
Request Board set a public hearing date for the following request to vacate a portion of a platted public drainage easement. Suggested Hearing Date: Tuesday, September 1, 2026 at 9:00 a.m., or immediately following the regular agenda:
1. Consider a petition by Mattaniah S. John, Esquire, as authorized agent for Jason and Jamie Bogdan to adopt a resolution vacating a portion of a platted public drainage easement over Lot 23, as shown on the plat of High Glen recorded in Plat Book 66, at Page 46. The subject easement lies in Section 17, Township 29 South, Range 24 East.
RECOMMENDATION
Request Board set a Public Hearing on Tuesday, September 1, 2026 at 9:00 a.m., or immediately following the regular agenda, to consider the preceding item.
