DESCRIPTION
Peace River provides a variety of behavioral health and emotional wellness services to Polk County residents. Among its community services, Peace River provides shelter to assist individuals impacted by domestic violence. The Lakeland shelter needs renovations to modernize the facility and create a more welcoming environment. Peace River will use this funding to support the renovations at the facility. The proposed reimbursement agreement is effective October 1, 2023 through September 30, 2024.
Without the funds, Peace River will be unable to complete all necessary renovations.
RECOMMENDATION
Request the Board approve the Reimbursement Agreement with Peace River Center for Personal Development, Inc.
FISCAL IMPACT
Funds are available in General Fund.
