DESCRIPTION
Risk Management requested Procurement solicit proposals from qualified firms to provide on-site clinic services at the Polk County Wellness Center. Services include administering a drug-free workplace program, preemployment physical exams, workers’ compensation injury care, employee health and sick visits as well various diseases management programs. Services can be used by any Board or Constitutional Officer retiree, employee or dependents covered under our Aetna Health Insurance Plan and all employees can utilize the clinic for sick visits.
Request for Proposal (RFP) 26-295, Onsite Clinic Services was issued, and five proposals were received. The selection committee July 30, 2026, to evaluate and score proposals. The three highest scored firms were elevation to interviews. On September 3, 2026, the two highest ranked firms were elevated to provide a best and final offer. On September 14, 2026, the selection committee reviewed and discussed the best and final offer’s. The consensus of the committee was to request the Board authorize staff enter into contract negotiations with both proposers, beginning with the highest ranked proposer, Concentra Health Services. The following is a listing of the proposers and their final rankings:

RECOMMENDATION
Request Board approve the selection committee’s recommendation and authorize staff contract negotiations starting with the highest ranked proposer, Concentra Health Services to provide on-site clinic services.
FISCAL IMPACT
There is no fiscal impact during negotiations.
