DESCRIPTION
The County Attorney has prepared a five-year strategic plan for 2026-2031 which will result in the County Attorney’s Office increasing the litigation in-house and implementing a career ladder that supports recruiting and retaining attorneys for the County Attorney’s Office. The five-year strategic plan and reorganization initiative was developed by the Human Resources Division which implements a compensation framework and reorganization that develops a sustainable attorney career architecture that supports recruitment, retention, succession planning, technical specialization and expansion of in-house legal services.
RECOMMENDATION
Approve the County Attorney’s Office Five-Year Strategic Plan for FY 2026-2031 and the 2026 County Attorney’s Office Strategic Reorganization Initiative.
FISCAL IMPACT
The implementation of the County Attorney’s Office Five-Year Strategic Plan and 2026 County Attorney’s Office Strategic Reorganization Initiative will be covered by the County Attorney’s Office’s budget.
