DESCRIPTION
This is an applicant-initiated request is for an amendment to the Comprehensive Plan Future Land Use Map to change Residential Medium (RM), to Commercial Enclave (CE) on approximately ±0.52 acres. The property is located on the east side of 34th Steet NW, north side of Avenue W NW, west of 31st St NW, and south of Havendale Boulevard NW east of the Winter Haven city limits in Section 13, Township 28, Range 25. State law requires one Planning Commission hearing, which was held on October 4, 2023, but forwarded to the Board with no recommendation (Vote 6:0). The Florida Statutes require the local governing board to make a final action on the proposed amendment.
