body
DESCRIPTION
On October 4, 2022, the Board entered into a Professional Services Agreement with INDIGITAL, Inc, providing services as a Competitive Local Exchange Carrier (CLEC), to design and deploy Next Generation 9-1-1 (NG9-1-1) services for the Polk County 9-1-1 System at the four Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP) locations: Polk County Sheriff Emergency Communications Center, Lakeland Police Department, Bartow Police Department, and Lake Alfred Police Department.
To ensure E-9-1-1 system redundancy and expand the existing network bandwidth the Emergency Management Division will add Starlink Network services at the four PSAP locations.
The cost of the additional services, which is more fully set forth and described in Attachment “A” to this Amendment #1, shall be a not-to-exceed amount of $122,399.80. Accordingly, the total agreement amount shall be increased from the original not-to-exceed amount of $3,540,128.11 to the new not-to-exceed amount of $3,662.527.91. To add additional services, Amendment #1 modifies Exhibit “C” Software/Services Description, modifies Exhibit “D” Price List and Payment and Fees, and Exhibit “E” Network Diagram.
