DESCRIPTION
On April 16, 2024, the Board approved CSA No. 22-081-04 with the Consultant to provide temporary staff to the Roads & Drainage Division, Project Management Section at a cost not-to-exceed fee of $192,000. The on-loan Project Manager began working full-time, as an independent contractor, on county projects on April 22, 2024. The CSA and correlated NTE fee contemplated use of the Consultant services through October 2024, or 960 hours. County staff are still in the recruiting process to hire a new full time county employee Project Manager. This CSA modification is needed to allow the on-loan Project Manager to continue to work full time for the County. This will increase the CSA amount by $201,600 and will bring the not-to-exceed cost to a new total of $393,600. This increase represents an additional six months of estimated Consultant services, or 960 hours, as detailed in Exhibit “A” of this CSA Modification No. 1.
RECOMMENDATION
Request the Board approve Modification No. 1 to CSA No. 22-081-04 with the Consultant in the amount of $201,600, resulting in a new total contract amount of $393,600 to continue to provide temporary staff to the Roads & Drainage Division, Project Management Section.
FISCAL IMPACT
Funds are budgeted and available in the Transportation Millage Fund.
