DESCRIPTION
The County entered into Agreement 2025-002 with WSP USA on January 7, 2025, to provide design, permitting, and construction administration for the connection point of the drainage and sidewalk improvements on North Rifle Range Road in Wahneta project in the amount of $314,979.00.
On February 17, 2026, Amendment No. 1 in the amount of $66,588.17 was approved by the Board, for additional design services to alter Thompson Nursery Road drainage work.
The Southwest Florida Water Management District (SWFWMD) has requested clarifications related to the Environmental Resource Permit. This amendment provides additional services to update the hydrology and hydraulic models necessary to complete the SWFWMD permitting application in the amount of $28,150.65. This will bring the total cost of the project to $409,717.82.
The Agreement will remain in effect through the completion of construction.
RECOMMENDATION
Request the Board to approve Amendment No. 2 to Agreement 2025-002, with WSP USA for engineering services for the North Rifle Range Road drainage & sidewalk improvement project in the amount of $28,150.65.
FISCAL IMPACT
Funds are budgeted and available in the Roads and Drainage CIP within the Community Development Block Grant Fund.
