Adopt Resolution 2026-08 for the Final PRWC Conservation Budget - FY2027 (Action)

DESCRIPTION
The Fiscal Year (FY) 2027 Final Conservation Budget for the PRWC is presented for the Board’s consideration and approval. No funds are budgeted from a Heartland Headwaters grant for this fiscal year. This proposed budget consists of member annual contributions only in total of $65,000 for the Conservation Program Manager position approved in March 2026. A Conservation Education program was initiated in FY 2026 with the approval of the Tinker contract in May 2026; FY 2027 proposed budget includes 12 months of the Tinker contract. Funding for the Conservation Education program will be through member contributions received in prior fiscal years.
The Conservation budget can be adopted by a simple majority of the BOD.
Included with this agenda item is Resolution 2026-08 which memorializes the Regular Board of Directors action of approving the FY 2027 Final Conservation Budget. Exhibit A to the resolution reflects the Final Conservation Budget and the cost to each member.
RECOMMENDATION
Approve Resolution 2026-08 for the FY 2027 PRWC Final Conservation Budget.
FISCAL IMPACT
Approval of this item will allow PRWC to collect funds from member governments for the PRWC Final Conservation Budget as referenced in Exhibit A of Resolution 2026-08 and to expend funds accordingly.
