DESCRIPTION
The SR 33 @ Mt. Olive Road Project is included in the Roads & Drainage Division current year CIP. The Board approved CSA 2022-094-01 with the Consultant on June 18, 2024, for the design of widening Mt. Olive Road at the approach to SR 33. The approved not to exceed fee was $96,005.00. The plans are complete, and the permitting process with FDOT District One is ongoing. During the permitting process with FDOT, the FDOT has requested detailed traffic control plans to be submitted for their review. The Consultant did not include man-hours in his original fee request to cover the cost of preparing the traffic control plans. This CSA modification is necessary to allow the Consultant to prepare and submit traffic control plans to FDOT so that the permit can be issued.
RECOMMENDATION
Request Board approve Modification No. 1 to CSA 2022-086-04 with DRMP, Inc. (Consultant) for the SR 33 @ Mt. Olive Road Project. ($18,460.00 one-time expense) for a new total not to exceed fee of $114,465.00.
FISCAL IMPACT
Funds are budgeted and available in the Impact Fee Zone A Fund.
