DESCRIPTION
GLK Real Estate, LLC is the developer of a residential subdivision known as Congdon Townhomes Phases 1 and 2 located on the north side of Baker Dairy Road, west of Power Line Road. A plat for Congdon Townhomes Phases 1 and 2 was recently approved by the City of Haines City and subsequently recorded in Plat Book 203, at Pages 30 through 34, Public Records of Polk County. The development lies adjacent to Baker Dairy Road which is a county-maintained roadway. Due to the fact that the existing right-of-way for said County roadway is not up to current county road classification standards, a right-of-way tract identified as Tract R, was reserved by the developer through the plat to be conveyed by separate instrument as additional right-of-way. GLK Real Estate, LLC, has executed and delivered a Quit Claim Deed to the County for the above-mentioned tract. Accepting the Quit Claim Deed will give the County the right-of-way needed to upgrade the existing right-of-way for Baker Diary Road, lying adjacent to the development, to meet current road classification standards.
RECOMMENDATION
Request Board accept the aforementioned Quit Claim Deed.
