DESCRIPTION
On November 16, 2021, the Board approved CSA No. 17-058-04 with Rummel, Klepper & Kahl, LLP to provide professional engineering services for design of the East Main Street at Combee Road Intersection Improvements Project. The proposed improvements include a new westbound right turn lane, drainage, sidewalk, driveways, signal modifications, lighting adjustments, signing and pavement markings. The final plans were submitted on July 13, 2023, and the required right-of-way has been acquired. Construction will be bid out under an RFP and is expected to take 120 calendar days to complete.
Under this CSA the Consultant will provide Polk County with CEI services to monitor the construction of the East Main Street at Combee Road Intersection Improvements Project. The Consultant is to perform these services at a total not-to-exceed fee of $101,016.42, as detailed in “Exhibit A”.
RECOMMENDATION
Request the Board approve CSA No. 22-096-01 with the Consultant at not-to-exceed fee of $101,016.42 for the East Main Street at Combee Road Intersection Improvement Project.
FISCAL IMPACT
Funds are budgeted and available in the Northwest Impact Fees Fund.
