DESCRIPTION
State law requires that the Board of County Commissioners approve the budget of the Polk County Workforce Development Board, Inc. (CareerSource Polk) each fiscal year. CareerSource Polk’s budget process calls for approval of a preliminary budget before July 1 of each year and a final budget to be considered in August, once the final dollar amounts are released by the State of Florida. The total budget for approval is $9,951,398.00.
RECOMMENDATION
Request Board approve the 2024-2025 Polk County Workforce Development Board, Inc. d/b/a CareerSource Polk’s Final Budget.
