DESCRIPTION
The Final Fiscal Year (FY) 2025 Conservation Budget for the PRWC is presented for the Board’s consideration and approval. This proposed budget totals $150,000 and consists of member government annual contributions of $75,000 with the remaining $75,000 to be matched with a Heartland Headwaters grant. The Conservation budget can be adopted by a simple majority of the BOD.
Included with this agenda item is Resolution 2024-24 which memorializes the Regular Board of Directors action of approving the FY2025 Conservation Budget.
RECOMMENDATION
Approve Resolution 2024-24 for the FY2025 PRWC Conservation Budget.
FISCAL IMPACT
The PRWC has created a Conservation Project Implementation Agreement that was approved by the PRWC BOD at the July 20, 2024 BOD meeting. PRWC members are in the process of approving this agreement at their respective commission/council meetings. Once the Conservation Project Implementation Agreement is fully approved by members, the PRWC will seek a qualified consultant to implement conservation efforts using funds collected in FY2024 and FY2025 ($150,000 member funding and $150,000 in Heartland grant funds).
