DESCRIPTION
Real Estate Services Division requested Procurement to solicit proposals from qualified firms for the purpose of providing appraisal and/or appraisal review services related to eminent domain.
Request for Proposal (RFP) 22-602, Appraisal and Appraisal Review Services - Eminent Domain was issued, and six firms submitted proposals. On February 7, 2023, the Board approved the selection committee’s recommendation and authorized staff to negotiate master service agreements with the five highest scored proposers; Compass Real Estate Consulting, Inc., Durrance and Associates, Lee Pallardy, Inc., The Spivey Group, Inc. and Wilson Real Estate, Inc. for appraisal and/or appraisal review services related to eminent domain for Polk County.
The attached master service agreements are the result of those negotiations. The term of the agreements is for five years.
RECOMMENDATION
Request Board approve the master service agreements with Compass Real Estate Consulting, Inc., Durrance and Associates, Lee Pallardy, Inc., The Spivey Group, Inc. and Wilson Real Estate, Inc. for eminent domain appraisal services.
FISCAL IMPACT
Funding will be budgeted as part of the annual capital improvement program process.
