DESCRIPTION
A Claim of Lien for an Affordable Housing Impact Fee Exemption was recorded in 2021 imposing a lien in the amount of $9,274 against property owned by Norma Castellanos located in Polk County, Florida. A check has been issued to Polk County, by or on behalf of the property owner, for the full amount of the payment due to release the lien, which is $9,274. A Release of Lien is required to be recorded upon receipt of the proceeds.
RECOMMENDATION
Authorize the Chair to execute the Release of Lien and authorize staff to record the Release of Lien in the Public Records of Polk County, Florida based on receipt of the amount of $9,274 in satisfaction of the lien.
FISCAL IMPACT
The funds, totaling $9274 and consisting of previously waived impact fees, will be deposited into the appropriate Impact Fee Funds. The cost of recording the Release of Lien will be paid by the Property Owner.
