DESCRIPTION
Information Technology Application Development staff are currently working to fill a vacant Senior Full Stack Developer position to support the county’s software portfolio. This staff augmentation contract will provide the county with a temporary employee to perform critical functions until a permanent employee can be recruited and hired.
The resource selected has specific experience with the software languages used by the county for new development and will perform code reviews and mentoring of junior staff. Additionally, they will participate in weekly workload planning sessions, contribute to future cloud design decisions, and build out project management processes.
RECOMMENDATION
Request Board approve CDW-G Statement of Work for DV_TS Polk County - Network Project for six months of staff augmentation.
FISCAL IMPACT
Funding has been appropriated within the Information Technology Fiscal Year 2025-2026 Technical Services Operating Budget. The cost for the staff augmentation is estimated at a not-to-exceed cost of $135,200.
