DESCRIPTION
Purpose of Layboard: A need to alleviate and remedy affordable housing and investment capital shortages.
Appointments: Five members appointed by District and approved by the BoCC. Members are not required to reside within the District from which they are appointed. Not less than three of the members shall be knowledgeable in one of the following fields: labor, finance or commerce.
Term: Four years. Each member shall serve and continue to hold office until his successor is appointed. In the event of a vacancy in the office of any member during a term of office, the Board of County Commissioners shall appoint a successor for the period of the unexpired term.
Term Limits: No term limits.
Reason for appointment: Resignation of previous member, Guy E. LaLonde, Jr.

Appoint Susan L. Smith as a member of the Housing Finance Authority for the remainder of the four-year term ending January 22, 2025.
