DESCRIPTION
The Roads and Drainage Division requested Procurement to solicit bids from qualified contractors who were interested in constructing drainage improvements throughout the Indian Woods Subdivision located in North Lakeland. The work primarily consists of re-grading the existing ditch system, replacing culverts, and installing a new storm sewer.
Bid 24-572, Indian Woods Trail Drainage Improvement Project - ARP was issued, and two contractors submitted bids. The lowest responsive bid was submitted by Kamminga & Roodvoets, Inc.

A recommendation of award was issued to Kamminga & Roodvoets, Inc., and no protests were received. In accordance with Resolution No. 13-066, $62,114.00 was added to the contract for allowance work for a total contract amount of $1,304,405.30. The contract time for this project is 150 days to final completion. Allowance time for the project is 22 days.
This project is fully funded through the American Rescue Plan through the United States Department of Treasury.
RECOMMENDATION
Request Board approve a construction contract with Kamminga & Roodvoets, Inc. in the amount of $1,304,405.30 for Bid 24-572, Indian Woods Trail Drainage Improvement Project - ARP and a CIP Amendment and budget transfer in the amount of $704,406.00.
FISCAL IMPACT
Upon approval of the CIP Amendment, $704,406.00 will be transferred from the Creekwater Drive ARP project to make this project whole.
