DESCRIPTION
On May 17, 2022, the Board approved CSA No. 17-059-06 with the Consultant to provide professional engineering services to conduct an alignment study for the Galloway Road North (CR 542A) at Swindell Road Intersection Improvement Project at a cost not-to-exceed fee $370,739.51.
An amendment to the scope of services is needed for additional work including drainage analysis and design and preparation for the public meeting. This includes adding a basin for analysis, design of three additional floodplain compensation ponds and three additional stormwater ponds, preparing an informational flier and three concept board and more as detailed in “Exhibit A”. This will increase the contract amount by $51,600.63 and will bring the total Project to a not-to-exceed cost of $422,340.14.
RECOMMENDATION
Request the Board approve Amendment No. 1 to CSA No. 17-059-06 with the Consultant, resulting in a new total contract amount of $422,340.14 for the Galloway Road North (CR 542A) at Swindell Road Intersection Improvement Project.
FISCAL IMPACT
Funds are budgeted and available in the County Transportation Trust Fund.
