DESCRIPTION
The SR 60 @ 80 Foot Road Intersection Improvement Project is included in the County FY 2023/2024 CIP. The design of the intersection improvements is complete, and the project is ready to proceed to construction. A requirement of the FDOT connection permit is that the County shall secure the services of a qualified consultant to perform CEI services. The Consultant will perform the required CEI services at a not-to-exceed fee is $107,522.25, as detailed in “Exhibit A”. Additionally, request $90,000.00 for possible unseen circumstances associated with this project via CIP Amendment and budget transfer.
RECOMMENDATION
Request Board approve CSA No. 22-081-03 with the Consultant at a cost not-to-exceed $107,522.25 for the SR 60 @ 80 Foot Road Intersection Improvement Project in addition to CIP Amendment and budget transfer in the amount of $90,000.00 for unseen circumstances associated with this project for a total of $197,522.25.
FISCAL IMPACT
Upon approval of the CIP Amendment and budget transfer, $90,000.00 will be transferred from the Impact Fee District B Fund, Reserve for Future Capital to the SR 60 @ 80 Foot Road Intersection CIP Project. The remaining $107,522.23 is budgeted and available in the Impact Fee District B Fund.
