DESCRIPTION
The W. Socrum Loop Road/N. Campbell Road/Old Dade City Road Sidewalk Project is included in the FY 2023-2024 CIP for the Roads & Drainage Division. New sidewalk is needed along West Socrum Loop Road from 400 feet north of Pebblebrooke Blvd to Old Dade City Road and on Old Dade City Road from Socrum Loop Road to the north entrance to Socrum Elementary School to connect to the existing sidewalk and provide connectivity to Socrum Elementary School. County staff has negotiated a CSA with the Consultant to provide design services for this Project.
This CSA provides for professional engineering services to perform utility coordination and subsurface utility exploration (SUE), permitting, sidewalk and drainage design and plan preparation. The Consultant is to perform these services at a total not-to-exceed fee of $129,490.00 and will be completed in accordance with the project schedule and compensation as detailed in “Exhibit A”.
This project was reviewed by the Sidewalk Advisory Committee and then selected to be implemented.
RECOMMENDATION
Request the Board approve CSA No. 22-095-02 with the Consultant at not-to-exceed fee of $129,490.00 for the W. Socrum Loop Road/N. Campbell Road/Old Dade City Road Sidewalk Project.
FISCAL IMPACT
Funds are budgeted and available in the Transportation Millage Fund.
