DESCRIPTION
Construction of Test Production Well #3 includes a 14-day aquifer performance test (APT) in accordance with the Construction and Testing Plan approved by the Southwest Florida Water Management District (SWFWMD). The APT is conducted at flowrates up to 1,500 gallons per minute which requires an adequate area to attenuate the discharge of groundwater resulting from the test. Due to space limitations on the site of Test Production Well #3, an alternate site was required for the discharge of groundwater from the APT. This License Agreement with Putnam Farms, Inc. allows the contractor access to a 7-acre (+/-) site located approximately 1,200 feet north of the TPW #3 site to utilize for the discharge of groundwater during the APT. Since the APT is scheduled to be conducted in the later part of 2023, the term of the License begins on July 1, 2023 and ends on the earlier of (1) the date the contractor removes all materials and equipment and restores the site to pre-construction conditions; or (2) December 31, 2023.
RECOMMENDATION
Request Board approve a License Agreement with Putnam Groves, Inc. in support of construction activities associated with Test Production Well #3.
