DESCRIPTION
The Board of County Commissioners established the Workforce Development Board in 1996 and continues to operate under an Interlocal Agreement for the purpose of providing policy, fiscal and program guidance for all workforce development activities under Federal, State or Local initiatives. The Interlocal Agreement is periodically reviewed and updated to reflect accurate legal and statutory references and to make other technical corrections as may be required. The Interlocal Agreement is for the 2023-2026 years.
RECOMMENDATION
Approve the Interlocal Agreement between Polk County and the Polk County Workforce Development Board, Inc. d/b/a CareerSource Polk.
