DESCRIPTION
The Waste and Recycling Division requested the assistance from the Procurement Division to piggyback the rental agreement from the City of Boynton Beach that was executed on March 19, 2019. This agreement was awarded as a result of the City of Boynton Beach’s Bid 011-2515-19/IT.
This piggyback agreement will allow the County to rent hauling trucks on an as needed basis. This will allow the County to provide trash hauling services for the southern parts of the county and add additional trucks if needed.
The term of this agreement is through March 19, 2024.
RECOMMENDATION
Request the Board approve the Piggyback Agreement for rental of hauling trucks with RDK Assets Inc. dba RDK Truck Sales.
FISCAL IMPACT
Funds are available in the Solid Waste Funds.
