DESCRIPTION
Since the declaration of Fire Department Burn Ban 23-01, the atmospheric and fire hazard conditions that increased the risk of brush fires and uncontrolled fires throughout Polk County have abated. Less than 50% of Polk County is averaging over 500 on the Keetch-Bryam Drought Index.
RECOMMENDATION
Adopt resolution approving the repeal of Fire Department Burn Ban 23-01.
