DESCRIPTION

The Grenelefe Community Development District (CDD) is for 423 units on approximately 132.7 acres located on the bend of Lake Marion Drive west, west of South Bay Drive south of Lake Marion Road.

 

Section 190.046, Florida Statutes (F.S.) requires the Board to adopt an ordinance enacting Community Development Districts within its jurisdiction. The Land Development Division received a complete Petition to Establish the Grenelefe CDD on January 31, 2022. In order to comply with the special advertising requirements of Chapter 190, Florida Statutes, the applicant must run advertisements in the newspaper for four consecutive weeks prior to the hearing. The requested date, March 19, 2024, allows additional time for staff to review the advertisement before it is printed in the newspaper.

 

RECOMMENDATION

Request Board set hearing for adoption on April 2, 2024, at 9:30 a.m.
